Walk With Me
by Crystal Barkley

Walk with me

We’ll walk together hand in hand

And as our footsteps stain the sand

We’ll take a journey into each others’ life

And we’ll touch those moments so precise

Walk with me

Take my hand as I lead you

And as we stare up at the sky so blue

We’ll pick our memories like beautiful flowers

And cleanse our souls in the rain showers

Walk with me

As I lead you through the forest so deep

You will care for me when I weep

You will dry my tears with soft rose petals

As they hit the ground hard like metal

Walk with me

As we walk together through the fields

To your every breath I will yield

As we gaze into each others’ eyes

We’ll unite as one and our souls will rise

Walk with me

We’ll walk together on the path of love

And we’ll pray for strength from the heavens above

And if we fall into the pool of despair

We’ll rescue each other with never ending love and care

Walk with me

Carry me through the garden of your darkest secret

And as we walk through that’s where we’ll keep it

Lead me through the gates of your heart

And not even the most violent of storms will tear us apart

Walk with me

As our journey comes to an end

Our love for each other will transcend

And blossom into a beautiful butterfly

And soar into the sky so high

Walk with me
